We recommend that you avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to your appointment. This will help to ensure that your skin is in the best possible condition for tattooing. If you must be in the sun, please be sure to use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

We also ask that you please refrain from drinking alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Alcohol can thin your blood, which can make tattooing more difficult and increase the risk of bleeding.

On the day of your appointment, please arrive freshly bathed with clean skin. We also recommend that you wear loose-fitting clothing to your appointment so that you are comfortable during the tattooing process.
Take antivirals for anyone looking at getting a lip blush tattoo to minimise the risk of cold sores.
After your tattooing session, we will provide you with aftercare instructions. It is important that you follow these instructions carefully in order to ensure the best possible results.

How to take care of your cosmetic tattoo
Here are some tips on how to take care of your new cosmetic tattoo:

1. Keep the area clean. Be sure to wash the area with soap and water on a daily basis. You should also avoid picking or scratching at the tattooed area.

2. Apply ointment. After washing, apply a thin layer of ointment to the tattooed area. This will help to keep the area moisturized and prevent the tattoo from drying out.

3. Protect the area from sun exposure. Be sure to apply sunscreen to the tattooed area on a daily basis, especially if you plan on spending time outdoors.

4. Avoid submerging the tattooed area in water. This includes swimming pools.
